Key Stage 2 football tournament
On the 17th May, Rye and a few Year 4s went to a football tournament. We sent 3 teams a boy’s A team, a boy’s B team and a girl team. They all did very well.
The boys A team had some very hard competion such as Rillington, Whitby, Norton, Malton and Amotherby. Rillington was a difficult game and they went to win the tournament Langton did very well and came 5th.
The boys B team also did very well we drew one match and lost two but won one. Malton And Norton were very hard competition and beat us. We came 3rd out of four teams. There was Norton, Malton, Rillington and us Langton. Thomas wright scored twice to get us 3rd place. Everyone else did amazing teamwork to get us our amazing victories.
The girl’s team did amazing they got 1 win and 3 draws in their team was Alice, Arabella, Bella, Joni, Chloe, Maisie, Rubie And Priya. They all did very well they got joint first with Norton they all did amazing team effort.
Overall Langton did amazingly, we all enjoyed it. Thank you to all the parents who provided transport and support.
