Imran’s Visit
On the 1st of March a Muslim man called Imran came to visit us and talk to us about how it is to be a Muslim. We did a workshop about it and he taught us about the five pillars of Islam (Shahada, Salah, Zakat, Sawm and Hajj). At the workshop he told us about what happens when you visit a different place and how you can get targeted because of your faith, how funerals work and how weddings work in different beliefs. The workshop told us about a lot of different stuff. He told us about what you wear if you’re a boy or girl.
It was very interesting to learn about Islam and everyone learnt something new.
