A Recount of our trip to Clifford’s Tower
On Tuesday 1st November we went to Clifford’s Tower in York. First, we all got on a medium sized coach. As soon as we got on the coach it started to rain.
Eventually we arrived at the coach park in York. It was a long journey and some people fell asleep. Next, we all got off the coach and went to the toilets.
Next, we walked under the dark tunnel to Clifford’s Tower.
Then we went into Clifford’s Tower and we went to the King’s chapel. After that we went up onto the roof and looked for things. We played soldiers.
Then we had a picnic lunch and it wasn’t raining.
After lunch we went on the city walls and we pretended to attack using the battlements.
In the end we came back to school.
