Rugby Report
On Wednesday the 18th October ,Rye class went to Malton and Norton RUFC to practice our Rugby skills. To start with we did tackling. We started off with one group barging on tackle bags and the other group practicing our low tackles. Every fifteen minutes we rotated onto a different activity.
Second, we played three rounds of bulldog. After that, we played netball but we used the rugby ball and if the ball touched the ground it was a turnover.
After we finished the netball we moved onto a game where you picked the ball up if the instructors called your number you ran to the end of the que to pass the ball to your teammate and they would run and put it back.
The final activity was that you found a partner and you practiced tackling on your knees you also had to number yourself one and two the number one had to lay on the floor and number two laid on top but you had to try and get up despite the weight on top of you.
